I love robots but afraid of people

Fear of robots taking over humans with the latest the world’s first AI news anchor in China, not human or human alike which could work 24 hours a day does the task as a professional news anchor. Concerns over such inventions and loss of jobs is something is as old as the hill. Let us go back in 1920s, the source of information was mostly relied on newspaper and radio partial took the space and by mid 1960 Television. Why aren’t people afraid of Radio and TV, then? I believe they were afraid down through history. Radio and TV must be seen as extension not humans themselves. Such inventions in the past, in the present and in the future, must be seen as part not odd men out! The AI news anchor is a non-humanoid which repeats the tasks when fed with information. It is inhuman, isn’t it? Does it not tell us that it’s the inventions by humans? Yes, I believe it represents humans.

The thought of loss of jobs or questioning the inventions is like going back to a century. Even if one has to argue on humans being replaced by robots then one should stop using vehicles like cars as buses and trains services are at threat. Why one need to inject or be fearful of robots? Why not to create companionship? Like the way, we are with mobiles and laptops. Such inventions can help bridge the gap between urban and rural. Such inventions can act as a tool to bring equity in several areas like education, entertainment and so on. I believe in all aspects. It will be a great discovery and joy in such experimentation.

Arguments of robots replacing humans makes me afraid of people. People can remain humans by appreciating the differences through usage of invention such as films, books, robots by creating a social interaction. If people do not celebrate the way of life through such beautiful inventions then celebration seems regressive. For example, discrimination based on religion, caste, color, hatredness and so on. It is like going back to a century or staying in a belief of humans as are as old as the hills.

But what about robots or fascinating inventions? Oh! I admire, thank the great minds on such inventions. We need great minds Steve Jobs or Elon Musk to teach and reach the humans. Now, I hope your minds have started to speak! If yes, I love robots and people!

Dear Friend:

I am writing to you answer the feelings about your love. I am writing it from my point of view.

That’s a good thing to happen is to fall in love. I feel that is the best thing that can happen to anyone. Don’t allow anyone or the societal norms to belittle the feeling of being in love. However, I believe it is not that love which is selfish, mean or uses for self-glory. If so, it would take ugly turns and discourage others to have the feeling of love. It will set wrong precedent for others. The love I am mentioning you which make you outpour everything that is good in you. It consists of kindness, consideration and respect that identifies the another person as unique and valuable. This makes you upright and compassionate person setting up a message of love. Hang on to your feeling.

If the same feeling exists that was from the beginning I think you are in love. I am sure you know better than me or anyone else. I could tell you, how do you look into it.

Love is one thing that you will be glad and grateful for the existence of individuals. It’s one of the best and most beautiful thing to happen in one’s life. One should hang on and try live up to it. It’s like a thriller movie that keeps one on edge hoping for a good and happy end.

Hanging on and being in love is as important as saying so in a way that takes into consideration of the culture one is groomed. The expression of love needs it!

Even though one understand or feel the way you feel, but one would like to hear it out!

In some cases, the fear of rejection or the same feeling is not returned from the another cannot belittle the feeling. Remember, and be glad for having the feeling of being in love. And don’t worry about rejection. Your love is like blossoming of flower for its own joy. Rejections are like the joy of moment one gets by looking at it. And such rejections, in reality has nothing to do with your feeling.

And lastly, don’t be in hurry in making things happen – they won’t! If your love is right, it will happen. Nothing good gets away from the person who is in love from the beginning till the end!

Yours

Little Deed : Serve to be served!

On a special occasion several delicious dishes were prepared for the members of family and some invited guest. The aroma in the kitchen made several passerby noses to look up. Members of family were salivating on knowing the names of dishes that would be served for the lunch. Chintu the youngest in the family was on dining table since morning thinking to grab the first bite of all dishes. As soon the customary bell rang to indicate lunch time. Members of the family and guests grab their seats. Maid began to serve, guests were taken back in the way the maid put the dishes on the plate. Guests were having hard bite trying to keep a smile. They were politely rejecting the next servings. Chintu’s granny the elder of family noticed the way the new maid served. In pretext of getting something from the kitchen, maid was asked to accompany. In the kitchen granny in her strenuous look said to the maid, “It isn’t just what you cook; how you serve also makes a difference.” As much one does anything with love and compassion is reflected in their action!

Share your story, where someone served you with love and compassion.
